Austin Massacre-ade Ball

Six of us are piling into the polo wagon tonight and heading out to Austin for a two-day Halloween tournament. Check us out on twitter for updates!

NO Polo Practice

If anyone is interested in playing polo (or if you already play) and would like to practice in a non-competitive environment, get some pointers on the basics, or get questions answered by a member of the club, come out to the tennis courts at Lasalle St. and Washington Ave most non-rainy evenings at around 5pm. NO Polo will generally have at least one person there practicing themselves who can can help anyone get acclimated. If you're shy or aren't comfortable in front of a bunch of people, but really want to try it out, this might be a good starting point.

We'll have a couple extra mallets and balls, all you need is a bike. If you're thinking of heading out you can text (504)-383-5723 anytime during the day to see if and what time someone will be there. If you text after 5pm be aware that replies might be slow, we're not always checking our phones while practicing.

Rookie Drive

School starts soon and we want new players! We'd like to start a newbie night to get fresh players up to speed asap. If you live in New Orleans, own a bicycle, and are curious about this sport, we want to teach you! At least two veteran players will be available on Wednesday nights at 7 pm under the overpass at Caliope and Barrone with equipment, adult beverages, and good attitudes. If you're interested, contact us or just show up and we will share our time and knowledge with the willing and able. Count it!

Opening Day at the Rink

A couple of us cleared the rink of weeds and debris. Shit was hard work on a hot Friday afternoon, so we hope you guys come out. We know it's mother's day but this is what we've been waiting for since we started playing polo. Oh, not to mention our friends in Pensacola (Tony, Sauls, Elrite, and AB), Baton Rouge (Dave, Travis), and Mobile (Fraz, Keifer) will be visiting. Just be there this Sunday.
