A few of us are heading down to Pensacola for some pick-up games tomorrow. Sound off on the forums if you plan to go.

Summertime

We've been playing under the overpass exclusively for a few weeks now. The roof has gotten way too hot. Playing on the smaller court keeps the game moving more anyhow. We're about due for another barbecue.

Mallet Party

Jeff and Daniel came over and helped build 13 mallets tonight. Six are heading to Baton Rouge, five for communal mallets here, and two for themselves.

New Ski Poles and Other News

I picked up 25 ski poles at Goodwill in Seattle. Six will go to Baton Rouge. Each regular N.O. player gets one. And the rest will be made into communal mallets. They arrive next Tuesday. Hopefully we'll get six or so built by the weekend in time for a big push to get new players out.

Let's get a flyer drawn up to advertise. Maybe mention something about a window of time dedicated to rookies each week or every other week.

The Atlanta tournament is coming up the weekend of the 19th of June. Wednesday we talked about maybe having an A-team chosen via stats of some sort, or maybe qualifiers. I don't know how this would work, but we should definitely be shooting for the podium at this one.
