Atlanta Midsummer Invitational

New Orleans will be sending a couple of teams out for this. Check back after the weekend for results.

Thanks ATX, BR, Pcola

This weekend Austin, Baton Rouge, and Pensacola came out for some pre-tournament pick-up. Big thanks to all for making the trip. Hopefully Austin can come a little earlier next time for drinks and general debauchery.

Jeff tested his stitches out on the court, and came out unscathed. Sadly he fell off his bike yesterday (standing still) and tore eight of eleven. Them's the breaks when you abandon your home city for Pensacola.

Thanks to Lando for the keg. It was tapped early, and appreciated by all.

Overpass Courts

This is where we've been playing exclusively since the heat arrived. Baronne and Calliope, across the street from the New Orleans Mission. It's dirty, trashy, and has deep grooves between the concrete. But it has lights, homeless spectators, high curbs, shelter from the rain, and a place to sit. We like it.

Pensacola and Baton Rouge

We had a huge turnout this weekend with players from both B.R. and Pensacola. We've never had so many under the overpass. I got there late at 4pm and played until 10.

Next weekend Austin is coming out, and maybe even Pensacola again. Where you at Baton Rouge?

We'll see about bringing out a small grill and some dogs. 6 hours is too long for beer and polo alone.

Pensacola Coming Down Sunday

We have guests coming in from Pensacola this Sunday - possibly Austin too. Come out and give these guys some good games.
